Stupid heroin dealers slash users

Three people were arrested Monday at the Kent Budget Motel after Dover police say they found them with 1,355 bags of heroin and numerous other drugs.
City officers, along with Delaware Probation and Parole, were attempting to find 44-year-old Willie Hale about 2:20 p.m. at the motel located in the 300 block of N. DuPont Highway, said Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman, a spokesman with Dover Police Department.
As police began heading to the room, 42-year-old Ricky Clark ran into the motel and officers found him moments later flushing marijuana down the toilet, Hoffman said.
A woman, 32-year-old Alysa Tosson, was also inside, Hoffman said. She had .2 grams of marijuana, three ecstasy pills, one Molly pill and six Tramadol pills, Hoffman said.

A further search led police to find 1,355 bags of heroin or about 20.325 grams already packaged for sale, he said.
Hale was not present but later turned himself in at Dover police headquarters.
Hale was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, Tier 5 possession of heroin, second-degree conspiracy, violation of probation, possession of drug paraphernalia and wanted as a local fugitive. He was taken to Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna after failing to post $122,100 cash bail.
Tosson was charged with three counts of possession of schedule 4 drugs, Tier 5 possession of heroin, second-degree conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was taken to Baylor Women's Correctional Institution near New Castle on $122,300 cash bail.

Clark was charged with tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest. He was later released on $1,500 unsecured bail.
