Minneapolis man sentenced in 2015 heroin overdose case

Jaime McClellan was sentence to 11 years in prison for aiding and abetting third degree murder for selling heroin to another man in which the man later overdosed off the drugs in 2015 .

Sheriff,s had been watching McClellan after they had been notified of another man overdosing off of heroin that McClellan sold , word was out on the street that his dope was potent but in the world of heroin addiction addicts love potent dope , as crazy as it may sound , if a heroin addict hears that another addict overdosed off a particular dealers drugs everyone wants a bag of that dope .   

The mother of the victim said in court that her family forgave the heroin dealer and if her son was there today he would tell the dealer McClellan that he could do better with his life , you can change your life and make great choices , she said she hoped he will do better things in prison and when he leaves prison .

McClellan apologized for the harm he caused the family and said his life was hard and screwed up with parents who didn't care for him and getting shot in the head in the streets . 

McClellan said hes working on bettering himself and he said he lives with the pain everyday of his life .

Canada is standing strong with it,s quest to end the drug war by allowing doctors to prescribe pharmaceutical grade heroin to it,s residence .  

For years countries have been trying to figure out how to stop the heroin epidemic and leading the way is the medical use of diacetylmorphine , also known as pharmaceutical grade heroin , which is used for treatment of chronic relapsing of heroin and opiate addiction . Diacetylmorphine has been used successfully for years in countries such as Germany , Denmark , Switzerland and the Netherlands to help patients who have tried other forms of treatment to no avail to kick the addiction of heroin and opiates . 

Canada has proven to be smarter that the united states in this matter because they have come to the conclusion that prosecuting and arresting people for the minor offenses of drug possession is clogging up the criminal justice system which is totally unnecessary .  

Legal drugs like prescription opiates have contributed to taking the heroin epidemic to another level in the united states , and solving the problem is going no where fast , but Canada,s proposal to use prescription heroin seems like the answer to many problems that our countries have when it comes to crime and drug abuse , but i don,t expect the united states to catch on any time soon . 

How to leave heroin and opiate alone

Being clean 19 years from heroin addiction people often ask me what is the magic pill to getting and staying clean and sober . I would like to give complicated examples and NA and AA jargon but to tell the honest truth you must first ask God to take the taste of heroin and opiates out your mouth and then  go through the death defying move of withdrawal and then remembering . Someone may ask me what i mean when i say remembering , remembering is never forgetting how it felt to chase heroin everyday , not knowing how you were going to get your next fix , stealing from any and everybody , taking chances that you knew could get you killed or in jail , and the banger of them all , going to sleep without dope or money and waking up sick as a dog . Everytime you think about using think of those examples because if you never forget you will never go back to opiates and heroin use .
