Women makes 10 year old boy take suboxon to pass it off as her own

A woman in Roanoke, Va., has been charged with giving her boyfriend's 10-year-old son Suboxone, a powerful drug traditionally given to addicts to help wean them off of opioids. Her plan was to collect the boy's urine and pass it off as her own during a drug screening, authorities said.

The boy became sick at school earlier this month , so the department of social services and police were called. He apparently told authorities that 29-year-old Katie Sowers Hinkley made him take an orange pill on Oct. 4 and 5, and then told him to urinate into a "long, yellow bottle," according to a search warrant.
