Transplants complaining about fire works in Humboldt park

It seems that with the new gentrification going on and the influx of long time Humboldt park residence selling out their homes for little or nothing the new residence think they totally own the place at this point . Its always been a tradition in Humboldt park to pop fire crackers all day and night on the fourth of July and everyone who grew up in Humboldt knew this , but some of the first year transplants seem to think they bought into a home in suburban Deerfield . I drive for a rideshare company on the side of writing this blog and i always tell transplants to some of these areas like Humboldt park and Logan square that a few years ago these places where areas where you could not walk at night without hearing a gun shoot or worry if you were going to get robed or not . Some residence thank the new buyers for cleaning up and bringing business to the community but to complain about fire works seems a bit trivial on the fourth of July , you must remember that the hood has not totally turned over yet and the old crowd are still having their fun .
